Shri Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor USTM has been honoured with “Assam Excellence Award 2022” by the News18 media network for his outstanding contribution in the field of Education. The Award was handed over to him by Minister Shri Atul Bora and Shri Rajesh Raina, Group Editor, News18 Network at Guwahati in the evening of 21st September 2022. The citation reads that the award has been presented to Shri Mahbubul Hoque for creating a world class platform in providing career opportunities and enlightening young minds of the North East India.
